Icmeler is a tourist resort, less than 5 miles down the road from Marmaris. Most visitors staying at Marmaris will use Icmeler as a second location, and vice versa. Travel between the two resorts is easy, by car, taxi, bus or Dolmus. A taxi ride will take just a few minutes.
Icmelar is not as large or busy as its neighbour, but is beautifully kept and has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. It is very pretty, and family friendly.
A wide variety of water sports is available, as well as scuba diving and boat trips. There is a good selection of pubs and restaurants, although not as busy as Marmaris.
Icmeler is a perfect companion to Marmaris.
