Places to Visit - Turtle Beach

Turtle beach is a gorgeous place to visit. This is a breeding ground for endangered species of turtle, and well worth a visit. The Caretta turtles lay their eggs each May and September.
There are many boat trips to Turtle Island from Marmaris each day in summer. You can even stop off on the way for swimming or snorkelling.
The beach is very impressive, being over three miles long. It is on a peninsular which has the sea on one side, and the Dalyan River on the other.
